Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part about being a mom is getting to be with my daughter everyday and knowing that she can always rely on me to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table. She fills my works with purpose and motivation to keep going.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

The one memory of Amíra that I will never forget is when she first started smiling and laughing. Her laughter was magical as if everything that was chaotic was blown away by her peace and happiness. Amíra was 5 months old when she first started laughing and it made me so happy that I cried because I felt like I wasn't capable of bringing her joy. I was singing my Umpa lumpa remix song and dancing around and that's when she made her first laugh. To this day she is in love with the song and dance.

What would you do with $20,000?

Honestly, if I were to win the 20k, I would be able to catch up on my bills, get a safe inexpensive car that's reliable, buy toys for children in orphanages for this upcoming Christmas so they know they are loved. I would use the rest to supplement my income while I pursue my degree in Business and veterinarian medicine. In addition, I would teach how we can help each other and start helping our community fight famine in tent cities by creating local havens where fruits and vegetables grow.
