The most rewarding part of being a mom is having an unconditional bond. Getting to experience a love so pure it serves as a beautiful reminder we are enough as we are. Having a love so powerful that it drives me to offer my best self every single day. Entering motherhood allowed me permission to love all of myself as I have the joy of raising someone to do the same, it is an unmatched journey that shapes us both.

When my daughter was in first grade she wanted to watch her school’s Spelling Bee. At the time I was a tired single working mother, but I remember promising her we would attend, so we did. Four years later, in fifth grade she became her school’s Spelling Bee champion! Continued on to being top 26 in the nation that year. I will never forget that full circle moment and knowing all those years ago how my commitment to her manifested into her own success. Proud Mommy Moment!

I would take some much needed time off my entrepreneurial career & spend quality time with my now blended family. I feel it is important to prioritize family time and create ever lasting memories. I especially look forward to those moments now that my Sarcoidosis is having such a heavy impact on my day to day life. The hospitalizations, work schedule & fatigue take away from the time I have with the people who mean the most to me. 20K would allow me to cherish priceless time I can’t get back.
