I juggle a full-time career, run my own business, and actively serve in my church—all while being a present, loving mom to Zarah.
We would like to thank you for supporting Josephine Duncan in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my daughter grow into a confident, curious person—especially through her love of reading. Last year, I taught her to read, turning lessons into fun adventures. At first, it was challenging, but when it clicked, she lit up with excitement. Now, at six, she reads to her toys, our dog, and even to me. Seeing her confidence soar and her imagination thrive reminds me that motherhood is about nurturing a lifelong love of learning and possibility.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?A recent memory I will never forget is when my daughter received a thank-you letter from her teacher, praising her for helping a classmate who needed extra support. She had gone above and beyond to make him feel welcome, ensuring he never felt alone. Reading that letter filled me with immense pride—not just for what she did, but for the kind and compassionate person she is becoming. I love seeing her through others’ eyes and knowing that her heart shines just as brightly as I’ve always seen it.
What would you do with $20,000?If I won $20K, I would invest it in my family’s future while honoring my commitment to giving. I would first tithe, recognizing the blessings in my life and where they originate, and then use the rest to secure our future. Financial stability is a top priority. I would invest in my daughter’s education, build savings for unexpected expenses, and create opportunities that strengthen our foundation, ensuring our family can grow, thrive, and embrace the future with confidence.
