What makes me a super mom is struggling mentally and physically daily to work and provide for my child. I’ve been doing this for 4yrs now.
We would like to thank you for supporting Jordanna Scott in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
Coming home to know someone is always excited to see me after a long day of work. I call my mother during my breaks and lunch to check on her every single day just to check on her and make sure she’s doing fine and mostly cause I miss her. I was unemployed for 6 months last year due to a severe car crash and was terminated because I couldn’t work injured. It was a rough year for both me and my daughter so I’m blessed to still be alive to live for her.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? One memory of my daughter I’ll never forget is the day she was born. She was holding her head up and trying to roll the day she was born. Also the connection me and her had and still have now. She looks me in my eyes and just smile. It automatically lights up my day just knowing she’s happy and healthy.
What would you do with $20,000?I would use the money to finally find housing for me and my daughter and save for her to get therapy so she can finally learn to talk. She was diagnosed with autism at age 2 and is non verbal. I also would save the money that I have left over for her when she gets old enough to use the money for school or whatever she needs. It would be a huge blessing to be able to finally have my own place and space to get the things we need for us to grow as a family.
