What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is that I’m Jayden’s mom he makes me better every day. Seeing him succeed and do things i never got to do and the smile he puts on others faces! I couldn’t be prouder of the young man he’s becoming. Jayden is my reward all around!!! I’m blessed to be able to enjoy life with my son while overcoming my health issues and still supporting him while working a full time job masking my pain so he never has to miss out. Hearing Jayden say mom I love you!!!

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I’ll never forget Jayden saving my life at such a young age when I had a seizure. My son is all about helping others. Him watching me go through so much with my health and still being active in school academically, as an athlete and in the community. There’s no limit to what he can do. I’m a proud mother!

What would you do with $20,000?

I would first pay off my sons trip that’s I’ve had to stop making payments on for the time being and I’d invest in my sons small business. He wants to start a shirt press and make clothes for the homeless community we serve once a month through Need 2 Feed here in Dallas. I’d also pay off my car which will put me in a better position to pay my rent and live with a sense of comfort.
