What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Seeing myself back to me in so many ways, but really he’s better than me! He’s so forgiving and looks for the best in everyone. I truly treasure that and don’t take it for granted.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I will never forget undergoing cancer treatment with my son by my side! He was my rock. At 9 months he never left my side no matter what I looked or sounded like. He reminded me that I was still his Mommy no matter what, even at just 9 months. Also, his kindergarten performance during black history month in Feb 2024. Best memory EVER hands down!!!!

What would you do with $20,000?

I would definitely be sure I take the steps to repair my credit & get out of debt. Start a savings or trust for my son, start a business, open a savings account, get into my dream car, hopefully take the steps to get into my dream home and take myself, my child and disabled mother on a few trips of a lifetime! My Mother is a two time stroke survivor. I was 18 when it initially happened, & the second time around I was 35. We have seen alot of pain & grief with minimal support. Ready for change.
