I’ve poured into my children w everything in me. It’s been my life’s work and they are such great boys. I’m a newly single praying mom
We would like to thank you for supporting Joanna Mackay in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding thing about being a mother is the deep, unexplainable connection you feel when you witness your child's growth, development, and the world they're beginning to see. It's in the moments of pure joy, like when they take their first steps, say their first words, or share their innocent laughter. But it's also in the quiet, everyday moments — the soft snuggles, the way their hand fits perfectly in yours, and the trust they have in you to make everything.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?I just can't believe how fast time has flown with all three of them, but l've loved every version of them - from the crawling babies to the ones obsessed with pots and pans, to the ones with perfectly mispronounced words. I've written it all down, so I don't forget. To do it justice, but I know it won't. I'll miss every stage, but I'm so excited to see each of them unfold into the amazing people they're becoming. They're all such gifts, and it's been my highest honor to be their first love.
What would you do with $20,000?From stay at home mom to newly single mom with three young boys, id use $20,000 to secure stable housing, cover basic needs, and create an emergency fund. I'd invest in my education or skills to gain financial independence because I have none and allocate funds for reliable childcare. I'd also ensure we have healthcare and set aside a small amount for self-care. This money would be a stepping stone to build a stable, hopeful future for my children and myself while I get on my feet.
