I feel as though I am a super mom because I have a medical issue with a son who has Down syndrome and one with ADHD. Doing everything alone.
We would like to thank you for supporting Joann Roberts in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part of being a mom to me is watching my kids grow and shape into their own personalities. I’m my kids hero and best friend and to see the love I pour into them come back out of them makes me feel as though I’m doing something right in this world.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? One memory I definitely will never forget is seeing my kids faces when they went on their first plane ride thanks to The Make A Wish Foundation and seeing them in awe at Disney World.
What would you do with $20,000?I would purchase a well needed bigger home in a better neighborhood so my boys would be safe and comfortable. I would get my oldest son extra speech therapy because he has Down syndrome and really wants to speak more and i die inside knowing I can’t afford the extra help for him. I would take my kids on a special trip and save money for their future due to my own serious health issues I know I won’t be around forever and I want them to be ok but have great memories of us.
