We would like to thank you for supporting Joan Villarin-Comstock in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding is when I gave birth. It was the most painful thing but its all worth it.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I will never forget when my son was life flighted when he was a year old. For all these years, he has been showing joy in the midst of trials- he is such a warrior. And I will be always grateful for his life everyday.

What would you do with $20,000?

If given a chance, I would want to go home in the Philippines. I have been here in US for 9 years and doesnt have any chance to go home because first my son has special needs and its expensive to home for airfare. Apparently, some of my family members hasnt even seen and hold my son. I havent been home too. I have been through a lot here in US-giving birth without any of my own family members plus my son has special needs since he was only 2 months. The rest of the money- save it for my son.
