The fight I put up to overcome my abusive past while trying to give my babies what I struggle to give myself. Defying the odds when it hurts
We would like to thank you for supporting Jhanee Franklin in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
Watching your babies smile and thrive from all you hard work. When you feel like giving up it gives you a reason to keep fighting.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? The one time I was losing the daily battle and had a full panic attack while driving with my kids and stop in front of a fire house and after getting transported to the hospital and hooked on the machine my daughter said “mom you will be ok” while hyperventilating it melted my heart and I cried ultimately calming my panic attack
What would you do with $20,000?I would pay my debts to give me and my babies a chance to qualify for a forever home . Since I aged out of foster care I had done so much moving due to struggling as a parent without a support system. Limited to the jobs I can with due to my schedule with my babies I worked hard becoming an electrician and even a trucker determined to get a decent wage and still struggled with limitation. Working hard to keep them from what I experienced as a kid and out the hood.
