In the words of my beautiful 5 year old son, “Mama, you have your own abilities like love and being joyful and spreading kindness.” 🫶🏼
We would like to thank you for supporting Jessica Rajani in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part about being a mom is seeing the world through my son’s eyes. He makes even the simplest tasks a great adventure, and every day, I wake up with the most grateful heart for being able to share in this journey with him. Watching him grow into a smart, kindhearted and loving little boy has been my greatest gift. I remind him always that love is the most important thing in life no matter what, and the bond that we share reminds me to lead with love in every aspect of my life.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?A memory forever engrained in me was when I purchased our home last year, a condo perfect for the two of us. This moment came after rebuilding from the ground up after divorce and losing my dad to cancer months before. I took my son to see our new home for the first time. We opened the door, he walked inside and threw his arms around me saying, “Thank you mommy for our new home! I love it! This is amazing!” There are many more wonderful and hilarious memories, however, this one deeply resonates.
What would you do with $20,000?My son attends a Catholic school and we have found the most wonderful and deeply nurturing school community here. $20,000 would provide me with enough funds to take care of my son’s school tuition for the next 4 to 5 years. In December, my son was given the kindness award at school. When I asked him why he felt he received the award he said, “because I spread all love.” The virtues and values shared within this school are truly so heartwarming to witness. Most importantly, I know he is safe.
