What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching your children grow into kind, capable, and resilient individuals. Seeing their achievements, big or small, and knowing you played a part in their journey fills your heart with pride. The unconditional love, the little moments of laughter, and the deep bond you share make all the challenges worthwhile. Knowing they feel safe, supported, and loved is the greatest reward of all.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

One memory I'll never forget is watching my sons grow through the Royal Canadian Air Cadet Program. Seeing them develop leadership skills, confidence, and discipline making me incredibly proud. Whether it was watching Kasey push himself in training or supporting Kurtis as he pursues his military career, those moments of growth, resilience, and achievement will always stay with me. The boys dedication and transformation have been some of my proudest parenting moments.

What would you do with $20,000?

I’d invest $20,000 as a down payment on a holiday property for military families to reunite during leave, ensuring they have a comfortable, welcoming space. The property would feature military-themed décor, honoring service members. I’d finance the rest through a mortgage or partnerships, possibly crowdfunding. Revenue from rentals could cover costs, with discounts for military families. This investment supports those who serve while building a valuable asset.
