What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Being able to watch my kids grow up into their own shell, while still using the skills sets I have taught them towards the principles of life. Allowing them to be themselves and to be able to express themselves freely but respectfully. To hear others compliment my children on their character, mannerisms, and their ability to speak to others in a way that is respectful and posed. Means a great deal especially towards my parenting, the world doesn’t have an influence on them.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

Each Mother’s Day my kids would make sure that they did all the things for me, that I would do for them, such as cook, clean, and give me a easy day off when needed. Even though I may have had to squeeze a few oranges and scramble some eggs. It was their independence towards catering to me, making sure I felt special and dependent on them for a moment. That made me realize that I was lucky to have them and for them to feel lucky to have me as their mom.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would be able to pay some outstanding debt that has been neglected while I have been unemployed. Build my emergency savings back up, and be able to treat me and my kids to a nice family outing and dinner.
