We would like to thank you for supporting Jen Marrero in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Watching them grow, and develop into their own unique person. Seeing them learn everyday and also, with 2 children, seeing the ways in which they’re alike and not alike. And of coarse, every time they tell me they love me!

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

There are so many, it’s hard to choose. Right now they are still so young, I would have to say their births, but also, the first time my son identified the make of a car (Honda), he is crazy about cars like his dad. For my daughter, it would be her rolling her eyes at my sister at the age of 3 months, (there were witnesses)!

What would you do with $20,000?

It would go immediately into a high yield savings account. With my husband on a transplant list, I’m not sure how long he will be able to continue to work. I want as much money in savings as possible, as it will be difficult if we have to live off my income and disability ( which wouldn’t even cover our mortgage.) I worry about paying bills and my children going without.
