The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching this little person you love more than anything in the world grow into her own. It’s in the quiet moments — the sleepy hugs, the unexpected 'I love yous,' the way her eyes light up when she’s learned something new. Knowing that I’m her safe place, her constant, her home — that’s the kind of love that changes everything. It’s not always easy, but it’s always worth it.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

One of my most cherished memories is our first family trip to Mexico with my daughter, her father, and his family. Before we separated, we were all together, and she was so full of joy—surrounded by her grandparents, cousins, aunt, uncle, and both of us. We explored the town, laughed, and even went scuba diving for the first time. I know this will forever be a core memory for her—filled with love, happiness, and the feeling of being completely surrounded by family.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I had $20,000, I would pay off my credit card debt and student loan, then take my daughter on an international trip with my family—my mom, sister, nephew, and especially my deaf brother. We haven’t traveled together in over 20 years, and I want her to experience that love and connection. It would be a beautiful memory for her and my mom, one filled with joy, family, and a bond she can cherish for the rest of her life.
