Jazmine Hernandez

What makes me a super mom is that I’m raising three kids while working full time, running two taco trucks, and going to school full time.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom for me is coming home to my kids’ smiles, their “I love you’s” .” No matter how hard or long my day has been, those simple words and their happy faces make everything feel worth it. It’s knowing that even when life is chaotic, with work, school, and everything in between, I’m still their safe place. I see them growing, learning, and becoming kind, strong individuals, and I know I had a part in that.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

One memory of my kids that I’ll never forget is when they were little and used to spend time with my grandparents. We would all gather as a family, and those moments were everything to me. My favorite memory is watching my kids with my grandpa—how naturally they connected, like their bond had always been there. Even though they were young, they loved him deeply, and he loved them even more.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I had $20,000, I would use it to buy a home for my kids, a place they can truly call their own. I want them to have their own bedrooms, space to grow, and a backyard where they can play and make memories. More than anything, I want to give them stability, something I didn’t always have growing up. A home filled with love, where they feel safe, happy, and proud to say, “This is ours!”
