Receive Text UpdatesThe most rewarding part is at the end of the day, especially those ones that are so hard even to get out of bed, but they come with their arms wide open and embrace me with the best hugs anyone could ever ask for, they tell me I’m the best mom in the world, and tell me I’m beautiful when little do they know I do not feel beautiful at all, when my son looks at me and tells me to not let my active acne breakouts make me feel like I’m not beautiful and when my daughter says she wants to be like me.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? The moment I held each one of them in my arms for the first time, I grew up without a father and was always trying to fill a void, they each finished filling in those gaps. They each showed me a strength I never knew I had, a strength to heal from all my past trauma and hurt & when they each smiled for the first time, I cried.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000 we could make my husband a legal resident here in the U.S. My husband is Brazilian, he came here to work and pay for medical expenses for my mother in law, she was recently diagnosed with brain cancer and all he wants is to be able to see her one last time. $20,000 would help us make that happen.
