Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Learning more about myself-how to self manage-emotionally, physically, and mentally. The self discipline it takes to be a mom. Before becoming a mom you hear stories but I never understood until I had this beautiful little girl. Seeing her smile and laugh at 2 am, not wanting to sleep when I’m exhausted from working all day. Watching her grow up and learn new skills like pulling her self up on her toy box. The hugs from her as well. Becoming a mom was the blessing I didn’t know I needed.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

My little girl loves tummy time. She doesn’t crawl yet but she can scoot herself a-crossed the floor. I was washing bottles in the kitchen and I had her playing with toys on the floor in the living room. I look at where I had her playing and she wasn’t there. I yelled her name and her little head popped up and smiled at me so big. My little girl was on the move just like that.

What would you do with $20,000?

We are in a one bedroom apartment; 800sq ft. We are young and although we have a great support system we are struggling with daycare and other bills. We would send her to the best daycare, pay off some bills, and put a downpayment on our a new home.
