I created an empowering mom group to help other moms communicate privately about the hardship of motherhood. I placed a lot of my dreams off
We would like to thank you for supporting Jasmine Murry in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part of being a mom is hearing my boys express their love and watching them grow into handsome young men. I find it helpful to share my motherhood journey, including the challenges, with the group of women I’ve created on Facebook. Motherhood can be tough, especially while managing bipolar disorder, which I was diagnosed with at 18. Balancing my emotions with my kids’ needs can be overwhelming, but sharing these experiences brings connection and support.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?I’ll never forget the day my kids were born. With my youngest, I had to have an emergency C-section, and it was the scariest experience of my life, leaving me with scars. But he’s such an amazing kid, and every bit of pain was worth it. I also love spending time as a family, watching them learn new things and become more independent.
What would you do with $20,000?If I were blessed with $20,000, I’d invest it in beauty school at Paul Mitchell to finally do something for myself outside of motherhood. The tuition is $26,000, but I’d use the funds to pursue my passion for helping women feel beautiful. As moms, we often lose ourselves in our kids, so I’d invest in my own growth to not only better myself but also help other women, especially moms, feel their best.
