The biggest reward is how raising them has shifted my perspective back to a childhood lens. They remind me what being present is, they remind me what forgiveness is, they remind me of all the small joys that the stresses adulthood can cause us to be blind to.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?One day I was stressed because my car broke down for the millionth time, & I felt like a failure because I couldn’t afford a rental or the number of Ubers it would take to get through the day, which meant a 30 minute walk to school. I woke up in the morning feeling down about myself, but as we started our journey to school, my girls had the most fun turning it into an adventure. They were giggling and playing the entire time. They can appreciate anything 💗
What would you do with $20,000?With 20k, I would get a reliable car, pay off debt, and save the rest for experiences with my kids that I can’t typically afford.
