I believe my strength, faith, and selflessness makes me a super mom.
We would like to thank you for supporting Jarleen Fernema in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part of being a mom is seeing the light in my son’s eyes when he feels safe, loved, and supported. As a single mother, every sacrifice I make is with him in mind. I work hard to provide for him, not just materially, but emotionally and spiritually. I include God in everything I do because I believe He guides my steps and gives me the strength to keep going, even on the hardest days. Watching my son grow, knowing that I'm shaping his future with love, faith, and perseverance.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? One memory I will never forget is taking my son to Disney for the first time on his 4th birthday. I worked hard saving up my money to fulfill his birthday request and seeing his face just light up at the park while seeing all his favorite characters was the best feeling I could ever feel. Seeing him happy made me happy and that’s all I ever want for him.
What would you do with $20,000?If I had $20,000 I would honestly put it towards school. It’s hard for me as a single mom going to school because I have to pay out of pocket for everything and I know with me furthering my education and finishing my degree I can build a better life for my son and I.
