Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

I can’t think of anything more rewarding than being a mother. Especially when you feel those strong moments of connection. Like when your child dives into your arms after a long day and it feels more comforting than fresh sheets and blankets still warm from the dryer. With me, back in school for my bachelor’s degree. My 8 yr old asked “Mom what’s something that you learned at school today?” He turned the tables on me since that’s what I ask him when he gets home from school. Love those moments.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

One memory I'll never forget about my kids is the time we spent a whole summer day at a beach in Lake Tahoe . We built sandcastles, played in the waves, and had a picnic with their favorite snacks. The joy on their faces as they played with each other in the sand was priceless. As the sun set, we gathered our belongings and left. That day was filled with laughter, love, and pure happiness, a perfect snapshot of our family bond.

What would you do with $20,000?

With the 20,000 I would start a college fund for my 2 children and give them each 2500$ and show them the Value of education. I would then invest in a house so they would be able to grow up with the stability most of us never had. Last but not least I’d spend some time camping with them near the beautiful shores of Lake Tahoe.
