I’m a Super Mom because I go above and beyond to support my family in every way, showing unconditional love, patience, and strength.
We would like to thank you for supporting Janet moko in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part of being a mom can vary for everyone, but many would say it's the deep connection and love shared with their children. Watching them grow, learn, and develop their own personalities can bring immense pride and joy. The little moments—whether it's a simple hug, hearing "I love you," or seeing your child achieve something they've worked hard for—are often what make the journey so fulfilling. Knowing that you're helping to shape and guide them through life.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?Growing up in a refugee camp was incredibly challenging, and the memories formed during that time carry deep significance. A memory that stands out might be one of resilience—I remember showing an incredible amount of strength and love, despite the difficulties me and my mother faced. It was the way we supported one another, that kept hope alive through small acts of kindness, or found joy even in the toughest circumstances.
What would you do with $20,000?I would use the $20,000 to purchase a land for my orphanage, the Children Matter Foundation, and build both a home and a community school is an valuable way to give back to children who have faced immense challenges, much like I did. It’s a testament to my resilience and desire to help others in similar situations. Building a place where these children can feel safe, loved, and supported, while also having access to education, will create a lasting impact on their lives.
