What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Putting a smile on my babies faces is the biggest reward to me. I know that if they’re happy then I’m doing something right & it makes me feel complete. For example, my kids could ask for ice cream and if I say yeah they are jumping for joy instantly telling me I’m the best mom ever! Even if it’s after having to be hard on them and making them clean their room. It’s a reward for them and for me because that is the best feeling ever, making them happy.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

Their was a time that it was storming really bad outside. Lightening & thunder that was so loud it rattled our house. The kids were terrified. I’m trying to calm them telling them it’s ok it’s “just a thunderstorm.” Tornado sirens start to go off and we are ordered to take cover. We all pile into my tiny 5 by 5ft bathroom with pillows and blankets. I remember holding my babies and smiling because I made them feel safe & they made me feel brave enough to not be scared.

What would you do with $20,000?

The 1st thing I would do is put a down payment on a house. That way my kids and I won’t have to move every year and we can have a permanent home for me to raise them in. After that I would open up each of my kids a savings account & start investing in that so if anything ever happened to me they would have something to fall back on.
