I am a super mom because I embody strength and resilience every single day. I tackle motherhood with determination and positivity.
We would like to thank you for supporting Ja'Nie Blount in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
Motherhood's most rewarding aspect is the profound bond formed with a child. This connection is filled with unconditional love, offering immense joy and fulfillment. Watching a child grow and develop is deeply gratifying, as each milestone reflects a mother’s nurturing efforts. The role fosters personal growth, teaching patience and resilience. Sharing joyful moments and shaping a child’s future provides a lasting sense of purpose and legacy, making motherhood a transformative journey.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?A memory I'll never forget is a day when all three of my kids connected in a special way, despite their age differences. I remember my 16-year-old patiently teaching my 9-year-old a new card game, while my 4-year-old sat nearby, watching in admiration and trying to mimic their moves. The room was filled with laughter and camaraderie as they shared jokes and bonded. Witnessing their genuine care and support for each other, regardless of age, was a beautiful reminder of their enduring bond.
What would you do with $20,000?If I won $20,000 and decided to allocate 60% of it, or $12,000, for my children's future, here's what I'd do: I'd invest in a 529 college savings plan to help with their education expenses. I'd also consider setting up custodial investment accounts to let those funds grow over time. Additionally, I'd think about buying savings bonds or setting aside some money for any specialized training or activities they're interested in, ensuring they have support for whatever path they choose.
