I balance love , patience and strength, raising three kids while being an incredible advocate for my autistic middle child.
We would like to thank you for supporting Ivy in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
For me, it’s watching my oldest grow and develop into an amazing person, both physically and emotionally. For my middle child, it’s seeing how she has learned to sign and communicate in her own special way especially when she surprises me with a hug out of nowhere. I cherish every moment, hoping that one day, I’ll hear her call me ‘Mama.’ And with my youngest, every new milestone reminds me of the beauty of these early years.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?Their milestones—every small achievement, from reading and walking to eating and smiling. The warm hugs and sweet kisses on the cheek remind me how quickly they grow. One of the most unforgettable moments was laying eyes on them for the first time after birth, hearing their first cry, and later, their first laugh. Those moments are forever etched in my heart.
What would you do with $20,000?Having an autistic child comes with unique challenges, especially when it comes to accessing ABA therapy, which can be expensive due to limited insurance coverage. With the rising cost of living and rent, ensuring my child receives the therapy they need can be difficult. This financial support would help cover essential ABA services, providing my child with the best opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive.
