Witnessing first hand how much of a little gentleman my son is (Damian 9) at the time 6 was carrying a classmates backpack and opening the door for her as she had Broken her arm and had a cast . When I was in middle school I broke my left leg and my classmate attempted to trip me various times while I had a cast from hip to foot/crutch I was at awe at just how much children lead by example and watching his little self be a genuine friend capable of empathy&concern for others ugh , rewarding !!

All for the rest of my life bc he is my inspiration however if I had to pick one was the year of infusions he surpassed. There were moments of completeconfusion/sadness/anger why him & not I?when the infusions ended the satisfaction of his to rip the sticky monitor cables off his chest&in his state,mom? Can we race in the hallway?even for a brief moment in the slight burst of energy left in him we’d both run in the halls of Stanford togthr although we both knew could get in trouble,so worth it !

Take him to Disney land for the first time, take him on a trip and explore to add to his crystal/rock collection,his bday may 9th throw him a beautiful party as last year he spent it in a hospital bed. And save a portion to open a savings account for his college needs in the future . Oh ! And my bday may 4th I’d LOVE to have a birthday dinner for him and I in a nice restaurant as we’re both foodies . Maybe a Taurus thing ? Hehe regardless of the decision thank you very much from us moms .
