The way I try to show up for my kids every day, no matter how challenging it gets. I juggle their needs, my own, and everything in between
We would like to thank you for supporting Iroctanya Flowers in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part of being a mom is the deep, unconditional love I get to experience every day. There’s something truly magical about watching my children grow, learn, and discover the world around them, knowing that I’m a part of shaping their journey. Every little milestone, every hug, and every shared laugh fills my heart with so much joy and gratitude. It’s not always easy, but the bond we share makes every challenge worth it, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? One memory I’ll never forget is the first time my child called me ‘Mom’ with so much love and trust in their eyes. It was such a simple moment, but it felt like my heart was overflowing. In that instant, I realized how deeply connected we were, and how much they depended on me for comfort, guidance, and love. It’s a memory I hold onto tightly, because it’s a reminder of the pure, beautiful bond we share and how much they’ve changed my world.
What would you do with $20,000?I’d focus on using it to create some stability and ease the financial strain we're facing. First, I’d put aside a portion for emergencies and make sure our bills are covered, especially since we’re adjusting to my husband being laid off. Then, I’d look into setting up a small cushion for my kids’ future—whether it’s saving for their education or putting a little extra aside for unexpected expenses. I’d also invest some in resources to help my husband with his job search like training.
