Receive Text UpdatesBeing his mom is the greatest gift of my life. The joy, the love, the connection we share, it’s more rewarding than anything I could have ever imagined. Watching him smile, grow, and overcome makes every challenge worth it. He teaches me more about resilience, patience, and unconditional love than I could ever teach him.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? It was Halloween when my son was 7 years old. That night felt like magic. He dressed up as his favorite character, Jack Skellington. He was so proud of his costume. We started trick-or-treating. At first, he was unsure. Then, after a few houses, it clicked. He realized that if you knocked on a door, they would come out and give you treats. After that he was hooked! I remember him pointing out which porch to go to next, and soaking in every second like it was the best night of his life.
What would you do with $20,000?I would use it to purchase equipment for my son that isn’t covered by insurance. Equipment that would dramatically improve his quality of life and give him more freedom to experience the world. One of the biggest items on our list is an all-terrain wheelchair. My son loves being outside, especially at the beach and in parks, but with his current wheelchair, we’re limited to paved paths and accessible surfaces. An all-terrain wheelchair would open up a whole new world for us!
