The most rewarding part of being a mom is being my daughter’s role model and greatest teacher, while she teaches me just as much in return. Every “I love you” she says throughout the day reassures me that I’m raising her in a home filled with love. Watching her grow, overcome challenges, and shine inspires me beyond words. Motherhood isn’t just about guiding her, it’s about evolving together, and that is the greatest gift of all.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?In 2022, my daughter was misdiagnosed with a disease she didn’t have. Then, she suffered a stroke and was unresponsive for two days. On the third day, she woke up and started talking as if nothing had happened. Her resilience is nothing short of miraculous. She is my hero, my inspiration, and a true warrior. I’ve been by her side through it all, and nothing can keep her down. I wish everyone could meet her, she’s the definition of strength!
What would you do with $20,000?I’m in my final stretch of earning my doctorate in Public Health, dedicated to improving maternal care. With $20,000, I’d invest $9K in my education to complete my degree, $9K in launching The Vital Women Project, my nonprofit empowering women through education, support, and resources. The final $2K would support my daughter’s academics and athletics, ensuring her growth.
