I’m pregnant, I took in my nephew for 10 months since he was a newborn until my sister was stable enough to care for the both of them.
We would like to thank you for supporting Imani Blue in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part is being able to watch my nephew grow and learn something new everyday. His laugh, his smile, when he plays and just enjoys life through his little eyes. I wouldn’t trade those moments for anything.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?A memory I will never forget is when my nephew sang for the first time. I always knew he was a musical baby, but I never thought I’d hear a baby singing at 10 months old. He knew the words though he babbled them, and was close to the tune of “This Little Light of Mine”.
What would you do with $20,000?If I had $20,000, I’d give half to my mom, to help her get back on her feet, we currently have no place to live, I moved in with my sister and my mom went to stay with my god mom. That money would be a blessing from god, but even if we don’t get it that’s okay too because someone needed that blessing more. Now with the other half, I’d get an apartment to stabilize myself and save what’s left.
