When I traded staff meetings for snack negotiations and lesson plans for life lessons I didn’t quite realize what I had in store. I left the classroom to work from home and pour into three tiny humans full-time. It’s messy, magical, and nonstop—but watching them become thoughtful, wild, wonderful little people? That’s the masterpiece I’m proudest of. No syllabus could’ve prepared me for this, but somehow, I’m acing it anyway.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I’ll never forget holding JP’s hand at a 90s-themed mommy-son dance, or the way Maddie’s eyes lit up when we saw the castle at Disney, just the two of us. Watching the big kids sound out their first words, or Maggie’s joy splashing in the pool for the first time—those are the moments I replay in my heart. It’s not just the milestones, it’s the feeling of being fully there for them that makes the memory unforgettable.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000, I’d pour it into our kitchen—the cornerstone of our family. It’s where little hands knead dough, tea is poured, homework is done, and music fills the air while dinner simmers. I’d create a space not just to nurture my kids, but to share what I’m learning with others. From baking bread to building traditions, I’d start a platform to teach homemade recipes and real connection—one memory, one meal at a time.
