I am a mom of two girls, with another girl on the way, and a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
We would like to thank you for supporting Heather Magrin in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my girls’ relationship with each other grow. The older they get, the closer they become. My twin sister is my best friend and seeing my girls become so close makes having them so close in age all worth it.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? Both of my girls were NICU babies and spent over two weeks in the hospital. I will never forget the day I was able to take each of them home. Even though I am a NICU Nurse, it was still hard for me to see my own babies in the NICU. So, taking them home was so special for us.
What would you do with $20,000?I would use the $20,000 to pay for our daughter’s preschool! Childcare in San Francisco is outrageous, and $20,000 would be immensely helpful for them to have the chance to go instead of my husband and I covering all of their care.
