I am a single mother working two jobs while insuring school full time. I do all of this while insuring my son’s needs are met.
We would like to thank you for supporting Heather Hazlett in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
Watching my son grow. Each age is a new person he becomes, to be able to experience each and every person her becomes as he finds his true self is the most rewarding part of being a mom. The pure trust and love that he has in me and for me gives me life.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?I threw my son a surprise food fight! I invited all of his friends and family, I made at least 20 pounds of spaghetti! All the condiments you could think of, jello, backed beans, even 6 dozen eggs! We spent an hour throwing food at each other and another hour cleaning ourselves off! The pure joy my son had on his face as he was squirting mustard on me is truly indescribable, it puts a smile on my face every day.
What would you do with $20,000?I would take my son on a trip. He has been begging to go on a cruise to the Bahamas and swim with the pigs again for his birthday this year, and I’d love to give that to him. I would also pay off my student loans and focus on opening my own massage therapy practice/ facial spa.
