Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

March 22, 2022 was the Day that child protective services knocked on my door and asked if I passed a background check would I take my nephew who was 2yrs old before this day I used to be wild and free. I’m currently working towards adoption. Not being able to have children to possibly being the best mom to this amazing young boy would be the greatest. Before it it was nightlife friends mini vacations & now life’s full of dinosaurs baseball learning & teaching so this is most rewarding!

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

March 22, 2024 the day he showed up on my doorstep and I had the option to say yes or no without hesitation. I told CPS to run my background and within five minutes I knew in that moment, this could potentially be forever. The start of this new chapter has been very challenging, but I wouldn’t change it for the world, he was a drug addicted baby so we didn’t know if he was ever going to talk or have a normal life. The progress that he is made with communication and talking is absolutely amazing!

What would you do with $20,000?

With the 20,000 I would invest in buying a home so that this sweet boy would have a place that he could call home forever and never have to leave never have to be yanked out of a home to where he is not comfortable a place to rest his head, knowing that it is his And he won’t have to be walking around in 15° weather ever again !!
