What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Watching my kids grow into who they are meant to be, and overcome hard things! Both my kids had significant needs, and I have loved getting to help them and cheer them on as they have overcome every obstacle put in their path. Honestly being there for every hard and good moment to support them is the most rewarding part about being a mom.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

Going on family vacation for the first time! My kids had never been on vacation, rode on an airplane, seen the beach, etc. My sons love vehicles, and watching their faces light up as they boarded an airplane for the first time and experience flying is something I’ll never forget. I love that I was able to take them on that vacation, swim in the ocean with them, and just experience all the new things with my kids!

What would you do with $20,000?

We need a new vehicle. I have a tiny car, that’s pretty old, and I would love to be able to get a van that would have more space. I want to be able to roadtrip comfortably, continue to care for more kids from foster care, and to be able to have my kids friends go places with us. So, I would buy a van!
