Seeing both my kids happy and smiling and playing with each other. Hearing them call me mom, mommy or Hoyoo (mom in Somali). Don’t get me started to how freaking smart they are and are only 1 yrs old and 2 yrs old. Being bilingual and my oldest using sign languages to communicate. Ugh I just love everything about my babies!!
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?The first time my oldest called me mom. At the time my husband and our daughter and I lived in North Dakota Grand Forks. Me and her was in Walmart doing a little shopping she 9-10 month and called me mom as we were checking out. And I balled my eyes crying in tears. With my son how incredibly brave he was after being in the Nicu for a month and over coming everything.
What would you do with $20,000?Like I’ve stated before my husband and our two children live with my husband’s parents and their 6 kids in a three bedroom apartment. My husband is ill we lost our home in North Dakota all I’ve dreamt about was getting us out of his family townhome and getting us a place my kids and I can call home. I’m starting college this spring and also job hunting but daycare for two kiddos are very expensive. That $20,000 will help my family and I in ways you can’t imagine and I will always be GREATFUL!
