What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Being a mom I was a child first. Being able to get from the blaming point of life alone dealing with my own pain to actually becoming the mom and to be able to over come my differences I had with majority of the help from them. I understand at this point of life a child will always blame if there is not any understanding. I try to make it a point and make sure there is understanding within every situation and also a safe place to be able to come with questions so they can learn a grow correctly.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

Alijah (my son) -he plays basketball AND LOVES IT. I believe under me it will be his first love. His father played professionally and I haven’t any experience to the game. He asks me advice every game. It makes me so proud. Especially being a woman of color in this world today. Alayah (my daughter) she loves to sing. I know with practice she will have a voice to be heard that ranges across nations, but with this aspect. She can be so irritatingly sweet. I love that she is herself.

What would you do with $20,000?

Pouring majority of it into the aspirations of my children. But also to pour into some aspirations and desires I have been needing to do as a mother on the outside and trying my hardest not to let them see me fold. it breaks my heart that my kids deserve the world truly and I can’t give it to them. I have learned to create in their hearts what the world is supposed to be vs. how it is. Humble we are.
