My name is Haley. I had my beautiful son in 2019. Adopted my brother in 2024. I haven’t been able to take them on vacation yet

Knowing my children are happy and healthy and will never have the heartbreak I had as a child. Seeing how polite they are and how caring they already are at their age. I did not have much guidance as a child so I feel very pleased with myself that I get to raise two beautiful boys. And show my brother what a mother is. What a family is. To have safety, love, support and guidance.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?The day we adopted my brother on August 19th 2024 was by far one of the best but also relieving days of my family life. Knowing my brother will permanently be with us and never have to be in harms way , truly is the best gift. My oldest son doesn’t know he’s adopted as he is also younger but seeing how they bond is such a beautiful experience. I remember my two boys just hugging each other once we got to leave the court room.
What would you do with $20,000?I would try to renovate my small two bedroom apartment as I do not have completed floors throughout my place of living and would love to have it up to date and hopefully put away anything that’s left towards a fund for a new home. My biggest disappointment with myself is I do not make enough to complete my floors for my kids to have a safe area to play.
