As a single mom, full time student, and sole earner for myself and my sweet son-shine, I am proud of every day I make it happen for us!

We would like to thank you for supporting Hailey Bridge in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being Sage’s mama is that as I watch him grow and blossom, so does our bond, and so do I - as a mom and as a person. He has changed my heart and my perspective in the best ways. He has taught me how to slow down and be present in every moment, and shown me the depth of pure, sweet, unconditional love. There is truly nothing better on this earth than our life spent laughing, learning, loving, and growing together.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

It may sound cliche or obvious, but I will never forget my son’s birth! I was in prodromal labor for three long days at home, and though it was the hardest thing I have ever done to date, I felt stronger and more connected to my body than I ever have before. I was able to have an unmedicated water birth with the help of my midwives, mother, and doula. After the experience I became a birth doula myself and now have the blessing of helping other moms welcome their babies earthside safely.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would put a large part of this money aside for Sage, so that it could be gaining interest and setting him up for success in his future. I would use some to pay student loans, treat us to a mommy and me vacation, and would love to bless my own mom for all that she does to help us.
