Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom for me is to seeing my son be a happy kid. With him not having a father figure I work really hard to make sure he always feels loved and has everything he needs. There’s a quote I live by which is “remember you’re responsible for someone’s childhood”. I want to make sure he always remembers his childhood being filled with the happiest memories. I want him to be a kid and just enjoy growing up in the most healthiest home.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

Taking my son to Disney was such an accomplishment for me. I always wanted to go as a kid but my parents were not financially able to take their family of 6. Being in Disney with my son filled a childhood dream of mine and watching my son experience that moment made me feel so proud of how far we have come together. That night after our night prayer, he laid in bed and told me thank you that today was the best day ever. I will never forget that moment between us two.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use the $20,000 to put a down payment for a house for us two. When I moved out from the home I shared with his father, I moved back to my parents home. We been living in their home ever since so I would love to be able to finally give my son Goliath his own home one day.
