I’m a work from home mom and do everything daily for our 3 yr old son. He attends speech and occupational therapies. I juggle it all!
We would like to thank you for supporting Gabriela Doubleday in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
Truly the most rewarding part of being a mom is watching your child grow, learn, and thrive under your guidance. There’s a newfound joy in seeing the world through your son’s eyes, rediscovering wonder in the simplest things. The little things are my favorite - his cuddles, his smile when he first sees me, the house full of his laughter, his big bear hugs, his kisses, and the unconditional love. All the milestones, both big and small, become celebrations of love and patience.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? My most cherished memory is the day my son was born. I prayed for my son for years, after having experienced a miscarriage early on in my marriage. I prayed I'd have chance to become a mom one day. When I finally found out I was pregnant, I feared something would happen. The day I was due to deliver, & finally had the moment to meet him, it was such an emotional moment, filled with indescribable sense of love & relief. Makes every milestone even more meaningful. I will never forget that memory.
What would you do with $20,000?I would use the money to buy a home for my little family. A home we can raise our son in and fill with endless love and laughter. A dream I'd love nothing more than to make a reality. My son deserves a home to grow in and experience all his future milestones to come. A place he will always have to return to.
