What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

In Georgia the snow is always a quickly fading event. One night it start snowing around 11 pm and the ground was covered by midnight with the whitest, fluffiest snow we had ever had. With a whole 4 inches at most, I woke my kids up and told them to get dressed to play in the snow. At midnight we were throwing snowballs and making snowmen in the dark. It was a full moon so it was perfect. We had so much fun that night, but thankful to seize the moment because rain melted the snow by morning.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would take my kids on our dream trip to Hawaii, and I would apply for law school to accomplish a life long goal of becoming a lawyer. With my education now it would only be an 18 month process. I have a fierce drive to help children whose parents take advantage of their vulnerability. Ideally I would work for abused children’s rights from birth. With experiencing abuse at a young age and seeing other children in my family abused I long to help all children experiencing this.
