What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

I love seeing my boys grow into kind, compassionate, intelligent people. I love how they protect each other, and love each other. They are brilliant in more ways than one, and I am blessed to be their mom. I was told for years that I couldn’t have children. I prayed so hard for a miracle, and God gave me two. I am eternally grateful that I was chosen to be their mom. They are my entire universe.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

My oldest son was 2 when my youngest was born. He was not sure what to do at first, but I remember him going up to the bouncy seat and slowly starting to connect with him. Fast forward, and these two are always cuddling, reading to each other, comforting each other if one is sad. I will always remember the two of them side by side. I love watching them train Karate together.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would start my American Sign Language class, and work on changing careers. I just stopped working as a nurse due to worsening Ankylosing Spondylitis. I would invest some in the boys’ karate DoJo, and plan a trip to Nashville where my oldest son was born. They always talk about going back someday. I would also help my mom with her business. She has helped my family out so much, I would love to be able to repay her. She is the best Mom and Nana ever. I would also help my husband with his dreams
