Being able to see my kids grow and evolve into their own individual person. It’s also rewarding to be able to coach them through similar struggles I experienced as a child.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?For my birthday last year, my family surprised me with a pool party. My kids each got me special gifts and they were all centered around me helping others. To hear the words of affirmation and see the gifts they gave me had me in tears. I am a therapist and I rarely talk about my work with my kids. To know that they see the impact I make in the lives of others, and to hear them acknowledge that was VERY special.
What would you do with $20,000?Take my kids on a vacation, pay up my mortgage for a few months, and buy my husband a new truck. The car he is driving right now is pretty old and beat up lol.
