What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is the fact that I get to be a part of something bigger than myself every day that I wake up. My children are the biggest part of my life in so many ways as everything I do is for them. After I received my sons diagnose for Autism I wanted to ensure that our family always saw the world as a place to adventure regardless of some obstacles due to his disability that we might encounter along the way. I just want my children to experience a rewarding childhood.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

My son with Autism is nonverbal so anytime he can say any of his brothers or sisters’ names is so rewarding as his phrases are very few in between but regardless of this he shows and demonstrates his love in other ways.

What would you do with $20,000?

IF I was picked as Super Mom and rewarded the Grand prize, I would take my family on a well-earned vacation as we live on a fixed income, and we make sure needs are met before wants. I would also Invest the money into my son’s life as having Autism is a lifelong Superpower and I want him to be successful when I’m no longer able to advocate for him.
