I don’t feel like “super mom”. I’m a mother who loves her children more than she loves herself, puts their hearts and needs before her own.
We would like to thank you for supporting Erica Papineau in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
Watching the things I teach my children reflect back. For example, when my 2 year old daughter comes running to me just to say “I love you mommy” or when I watch my 8 year old daughter teach her little sister something new. The way she talks, it’s just like me! And I think, this is the way she will talk to her children. This is my legacy, my children are all the best parts of me. And they are what I’m most proud of in life.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?Oh gosh. Do I really have to narrow this down to ONE?! I think my favorite thing to watch them all do together is jump on the trampoline. The sound of their laughs all together is harmonizing. I can see them all in one place, playing, getting along (mostly), and I know for that minute they’re all safe. They are all right here with me and it’s peaceful. I see them making their own memories up there too and knowing they’ll remember me right there on the side laughing with them, that’s my favorite.
What would you do with $20,000?This might be cheesy…. But I would take them to Disney. They have been asking to go for 3 years now, and I want to take them so bad. But it’s very expensive, we are a family of 6 now and money is tight. I would love to take them and pamper them for a solid week and meet all of their favorite characters (stitch right now) and buy all the delicious snacks at Disney that they see on YouTube. Stay in a Disney themed room. Make the week all about them, they are amazing and oh so deserving.
