Erica Green

I am a super mom because I drove 27 hours pregnant from Alabama to California with my two daughters in tow, chasing a better life for us.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is witnessing the strength and joy my children carry, even after all we’ve been through. Every hug, every milestone, every “I love you, Mommy” reminds me that I am doing something right. Knowing I get to shape their world with love, structure, and intention makes every sacrifice worth it.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I’ll never forget the drive from Alabama to California—pregnant, with my girls in the backseat, and a heart full of hope. I was leaving behind a life that no longer served us, determined to build something better. That moment showed me how strong I really am and how far I’ll go for my kids.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would pour into myself first—so I can have the time freedom to truly show up for my kids, nurture their needs, and be present. With that space, I’d grow my nonprofit and support other moms like me—moms who give everything and still rise. This investment wouldn’t just change my life, it would ripple out into the lives of so many others. That’s how legacy begins.
