I’m a super mom because I juggle life’s chaos, put my family first, and always find a way to make things work with love and strength.
We would like to thank you for supporting Erica Aitchison in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding thing about being a mom is the deep, unconditional love you share with your child. Watching them grow, learn, and develop their own personality is incredibly fulfilling. There’s nothing like seeing their face light up when they accomplish something new or hearing them say "I love you" out of the blue. The little moments like cuddles, laughter, and inside jokes make all the hard work worth it.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? One of my favorite memories with Caleb from our Jamaica trip was watching him run into the ocean, laughing as the waves crashed around him. We built a giant sandcastle together, only for him to knock it down with pure joy. In the evenings, we relaxed by the pool, listening to reggae music while he danced without a care in the world. Seeing his happiness in such a beautiful place made the trip unforgettable.
What would you do with $20,000?If I happen to win $20K, I’d put $10K Caleb’s education fund to take advantage of grants and growth. I’d put $5k towards our downpayment savings account for our first home. With the last $5K, I’d plan a special trip or experience to create lasting memories. Balancing saving for Caleb’s future while enjoying the present is important to me, and this way, I’d feel secure while still making the most of our time together.
