The most rewarding part of being a mom is seeing my daughters grow into strong, independent women who understand the sacrifices I made. Knowing that my love, guidance, and hard work shaped their futures fills my heart with pride. Now, as an Abuela, I get to see my legacy continue through my grandchildren, and there’s no greater feeling than knowing my family is thriving because of the foundation I built.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?One memory I will never forget is handing the keys to my daughter and her wife when they bought their first home. It was a full-circle moment, proof that all my sacrifices were worth it. Seeing their happiness, knowing they created stability for themselves, and hearing them say, “Mom, you’ll always have your own room with us,” brought me to tears. That day, I knew I had done my job as a mother.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, I would invest in my family’s future. I would set aside funds for my grandchildren’s education, support my daughters in their homeownership journey, and continue building my real estate career. I also want to give back, helping single mothers who are working tirelessly, just as I did, to create a better life for their children. This money would be a blessing that allows me to uplift others.
